Great Heavy Record

This is by far the heaviest album to date from the boys. It was a perfect follow up to Awake. Established Godsmack as a force in the hard rock heavy metal world!! People always tell me Godsmack isn't metal? I say listen to Releasing the demon's then talk to me. Also the album has a great ballad Serenity wich never grows old!!! I think this album is there best all around album!! IV a very close second!

godlike album

I remember fighting with my mom in the store to buy me this album when I was 11. She wouldn't let me buy it because of its explicitness, after 20 minutes of arguing I got the best cd ever produced. I fell asleep listening to it straight through that night and any other night I listened to it, which was very often. Years later i still listen to every single song, one song stands out to me the most, Serenity. This song has gotten me through some tough times, and i thank god every day for giving Godsmack the power to make this song. I love every song on every cd but the Faceless cd is the bread and butter of all.

By far the best.

I fucking love this album. Its a mix of the earlier styles with some new experimental stuff. My favorite song from all of Godsmack's albums is Re-Align. Re-Align is just simply amazing. Great melody with kick ass drums and guitar riffs, not to mention the lyrics are amazing in themselves. This album being Shannon's first album with Godsmack you can really tell the difference. Shannon is an amazing drummer. This album has the best written songs lyricly and instrumentally.

Kick ass album

If someone asks me about who's godsmack, what's the spirit of godsmack, what's the music of godsmack..I'll say, buy Faceless. This album is the master opera of this band. When i remember godsmack, i remember their bests songs, i stand alone, straight out of line, changes, re-align, I fuking hate you...all the songs of these CD are simply great, these atomic bomb of CD is the fuking heavy spirit of godsmack. Since the starting of straight out of line, you can'tstop headbanging, after that, the CD is a non stop of brutal riffs an epic chorous. Each time that godsmack relases another new album, i expect it to sound like faceless, like the official kikass album of godsmack.
I'm only a 18 years old guy of Madrid in spain, a true fan of godsmack, who's writing all he could write in a lenguage which is not his lenguge, and i think that all i've written here is less than this album must have. Godsmack 4 ever guys.

See you

How did I discover Godsmack

The first song I ever heard was "straight out of line" when I finished the game "prince of persia: warrior within" and then I heard the music of I stand alone and simply fall in love with this band, I searched for the record until I found it, and that's what real music looks like.

Best Godsmack Album

Faceless is very raw and aggressive. This was Shannon Larkin's first album, and the drum tracks were taken to a whole new level. Every song on the album was great, but my personal favorites were Faceless, Make Me Believe, and Straight Out Of Line.

Got me through war

I had this CD with me when I went on my first tour in Iraq. Every time I went out on a mission I would listen to Straight Out Of Line, and I Stand Alone. The best line to hear before going out for a fight was the line from Dead And Broken that said "death will come when I'm good and ready" Every song on the CD was a home run.
