DISCUSS! What does the song mean to you...how do you interpret the lyrics?

I relate the song about a bad relationship and being lonely. When they released that album I went through a bad break up so that's why i relate the song that way.

That's a pretty good theory
I feel like he's saying that he has rushed through so many things in life that he should have taken the time to enjoy and explore.

He seems to feel the loss of innocence, but in a quick way like it was ripped away in one fell swoop. And now that he realizes what he's missing, he still has nobody by his side to share his new awareness with. He just sits and ponders the loss he feels without reaching out to anyone.

Great Point Blue, it probably is the meaning of the song, you interpret it well. Just on a personal level i relate the song with a relationship because i just got out of one at that time.
That's what's great about music, people can interpret songs anyway they want.

I can only listen to that song once in a while. It seldom rains where I live, so I only listen to "One Rainy Day" on rainy days.
