my attempt to meet sully
yes it is the poster who has a major crush on sully.
unforunitly i did not get to meet them last night when i saw there concert.
but all was not lost.
there were about 5 of us standing out by where the buses were. when another one pulled up.
and a short time later, tony came out. he had to pass us to get to the venue. so we asked and he stopped and signed autographs and i got a picture with him.
then robbie came in a different vechile. he came over and signed autographs and got a picture with him also
a short time later as we were standing there. someone says theres sully.
i turned around and sully had come out of one of the doors.
and he was not wearing a shirt. omg. we asked if he would come over for pictures, he declinced saying he was working out. which probably explained why he had no shirt on lol
i guess it was a good thng he did not come over i was so nervous with tony and robbie.
i probably would of been a basket case with sully lol

Yeah, you need to dig those up and show us! As a long-time, die-hard, I don't give a shit what ANYONE else thinks about him, Sixx fan, I promise not to judge too harshly!

I think it sucks and it's supremely stupid when bands (or people in them) have feuds like that. I've been a Crue fan for as long as I can remember, and have seen them multiple times. Of course Godsmack came around later, so I haven't been a fan quite as long. But I have to admit, Sixx got knocked down a few pegs on the respect chart just cause of his childish antics toward Sully. I respect that fact that these guys get to live their dreams on a day to day basis, but damn, this isn't high school. Some people need to get over themselves and realize at the end of the day, we're all just human beings. No better, and no worse than anyone else.
I will say that in my observation, Sully has certainly been the mature one in that whole ordeal. -

I loved the entire Sixx persona when I was a teenager. Ate it right up. Nikki embodied the quintessential badass rockstar I always wanted to be. The Motley house where the band lived during "Too Fast For Love" and "Shout At The Devil" is my own (sad) version of Mecca to this day.
(btw, that's the house behind me on FB Georgia).
My tats are done by Nikki's guy in LA and from what I've heard Nikki's a complete jerk to the very core of his soul.
Makes sense. Doesn't matter. I kinda like that. -

Can you guys imagine the ABSOLUTE ROCK GODS that the guys from GNR would be right now, if they could have held it all together? OH MY GOSH....
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE DJ Ashba fan, and it's cool to see him on stage (with Guns, or Sixx:AM). But the lineup that GNR has now, while the music is still good, just doesn't have the same..OOMPH that the orginal lineup had. Not taking away from their talent by any means, but I think all the drama around AXL has caused the name Guns N Roses to lose credibility. -

They would be HUGE if still together. Poor Slash playing around trying to find a home but it's working with Myles. I have not heard any Axl stuff... I saw a few seconds of a song with a guy with a bucket on his head and just turned it off and haven't bothered with them.

He is completely good and happy the way he is now
His dream was to work with different types of people and music and you know not many can accomplish their dreams..:)
Hid cooperation with Miles,Ozzy,Chris Cornell,Adam Levine,Kid Rock,M. Shadows or Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother are really peace of work.
He even have a song dedicated to Axl-Crucify the death

It wasn't angry... plus you can get angry at me... I know in the end we'll always hug.
[hug] I wasn't bashing Slash, just seen him play with so many people, as in he needs to get a permanent band. Velvet Revolver didn't pan out but he's good with Myles Kennedy.
I can't bash Slash, he's the b/f's god.

It's amazing how tearing-shit-up Appetite still sounds today. All for one and one for all. Unlike anything else from the era. You're right.... ohhhhhh what could have been.
For me it all died the moment they turfed Steven Adler. His drumming is succinct and effective; the perfect hybrid of rock/gutter punk for the time. Matt Sorum seems like a really nice guy, but his drumming (for me) is too laboured and bombastic.
Of course it also didn't help that Axl went all schizo, started whining about everything and then morphed into Elton John. -
