I agree that would do great in Europe .... If I was them I'd personally be playing in Paris every month LMAO! That's just me though... any excuse to go back there as soon as possible!! But as far as sales, the label/management DOES look at those and they do play a big part. Not saying playing more regions would help up sales..... cause it def would.

However ... bands/musicians don't make what people may think on record sales these days. It's all tour/merch. Even with a tour, a band must pay all the dues before they see any of the profit. The whole working crew, tour bus, their driver, gas, merch, food, hotels, all the fancy pyro, lighting, screens ..... the list and expenses go on and on. NOT cheap, at all. All these things need to be payed for first... before the artist/band does.

Between downloads and iTunes, album profits are NOTHING like they use to be, sadly. People are more likely to steal music or download a song here and there via iTunes, then go out and but a whole album, sadly. I personally don't get it, because I would never steal or just buy a song from one of my favorite artists. Esp when full albums are only like 10-15 bucks a pop. That's just me though.

I suggest, when it's available to the public, for everyone to check out the documentary ARTIFACT, Jared Leto directed... even if you don't like him, or 30 Seconds to Mars. It basically breaks down the music industry in this day in age, and explains to people how and why things are they way they are. It is very informative. I saw it at the film festival premiere in NYC. It will help give insight to people who may not be familiar to how the industry works, and where the money goes from album sales etc. Some people may be surprised just how little of the money the actual artist sees....
