Georgia, your list has both Sepultura and Rupaul on it. I just squirted coffee out of my nose. I might be in love with you.
I am working on my list today and will post later. it's a lot more difficult than I anticipated.

yep. it was the Clash Of The Titans tour at Exhibition Stadium with Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Alice In Chains in 1991. Facelift era!
I had no idea who Alice In Chains were before the show, but their set that day in the sunlight was so unexpected and different it made a huge impression on me. They were so raw and chunky compared to much of the hard rock and metal at that time. I was about 12 rows back on the floor but more than 1/2 the seats in front of us were empty when Alice played!
That day also solidified my eternal love of Slayer.

You saw Pantera 3 times?! I'm sad now :( One of my biggest regrets is never being able to make that happen.
I actually saw Sepultura at the Mason Jar in Phoenix billed as Camel Toe, they were playing with another band who I do not remember who they actually were but they billed as Electric Pickle. Actually found out at the show Friday that the Mason Jar does not exist anymore. Sad.
Rupaul tickets were a gift because I was freinds with the Grand Marshal of the Southern Decadence celebration in New Orleans that year, bitch only played 3 songs.
Also did not list the Beach Boys or the fact that I also went to an MTV Dance thing way back when... Paula Abdul, Tone Loc, Milli Vanilli, and another group I don't remember.

I was 19 when Vulgar Display Of Power was out and fortunate enough to see Pantera open for Skid Row on the Slave To The Grind tour that year. I had previously seen Pantera twice during the Cowboys From Hell era, but the Vulgar show was something entirely different. Like a prison riot.
At the time it seemed like Pantera were always playing here so I think I took them for granted. I assumed they'd be around forever, It makes me sad that I never bothered to go see them again after that show. I honestly have no idea why I didn't. though it was because of Pantera that I made the last minute decision to drive 25 hours to see Godsmack in Dallas last summer after Sully said they were going to do a tribute to Dimebag. I am so glad that I did.
oh yeah, and I have an admission to make. I'm not really 99.

my mistake. I asked 'cuz I thought some of the multi-band lineups seemed familiar. also, I didn't realize Finger Eleven were known at all outside of Canada.

Lol. Finger Eleven are pretty well known dude, next you'll be saying that you're surprised that Sum 41 or Avril Lavigne are known out of Canada.

Anyone attending the Mayhem festivals this summer?
-
RE: Who's seen who else? Lets have some fun!
I might try for Mayhem in Bristow at the end of July. I have a buddy that moved there a couple of years ago so at least I wont have to sleep in my Jeep (unless I want to). Slayer!
