    promoting your book?

Not actively. It's there if someone is interested.

I had some books I was really looking forward to getting into...then my nephew's boxer decided he wanted to get into them. Three books (and some magazines) destroyed. I haven't replaced them yet...greyhounds, soldier dogs and Marilyn.

I just finished, Life of Pi, which is seemed to go from amazingly beautiful to mind numbingly boring on a regular basis. I will say that it is memorable and unique, but the voice never quite grabbed me, and I'd steer clear of this one if you need your novels to hit you over the head with action on a regular basis.

Starting in on Barbara Kingsolver's, Prodigal Summer, which is not something I thought I'd enjoy, but I'm already fully immersed in the story, setting, and first person narrative after ten pages.

    :)

I'm currently reading "The Anarchist Cookbook" by William Powell. It's pretty awesome in a "Woo Hoo let's cook up some homemade acid and build a pipe bomb" kinda way.
