Re: Movies....
Has anyone seen The Devil Inside? Looks like poor reviews but it interests me. Might rent it later.

Re: Movies....
I watched a movie over the weekend called Seance: The Summoning. It got terrible reviews, but I actually really liked it.
The premise: 4 very attractive teens (2 girls / 2 guys) spend the night in the morgue where one of the guys works. One girl claims to be descended from a long line of spiritual mediums so the plan is to conduct a seance in order to disprove that demons exist. They get drunk, pop some pills and eventually the guy that is a singer in a punk band gets posessed by a demon. Exorcism type hijinks ensue, people die grisly deaths and only one person walks away from the whole mess. Have no doubt, the movie has it's stupid moments... but for me that was part of it's charm. And the music in it was really good.

Re: Movies....
I'm a big horror fan, but I usually like the ones that get bad reviews. Some favs off the top of my head:
Haute Tension (the book it's based on is good too, "Intensity")
Maniac (slasher flick from 1980)
The Human Centipede
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original, not the remake)
Hatchet
Malevolence
Black Christmas
Midnight Meat Train (fucking hilarious)
Suspiria
The Last Exorcism
Inside
Evil Dead (the entire series)
Near Dark

I had a giant Chainsaw poster above my bed when I was in college. The black and white one with Leatherface running out the front door of the house.

like this, except 8' wide.

This poster was a chick magnet. Really wish I had kept it.

Re: Movies....
I did. It allowed me to obtain a job where I could fester online posting random nothingness about jack shit all day long. I'd say college has been a success for me.

I haven't, but it looks like something I'd like. Let us know how it is.

Anaconda was on last night, my daughter enjoyed it...thought it was funny for a 2 year old to sit and watch it.
Must take after Mama. -
Re: Movies....
I can't do the horror flicks; when I was younger I would see them (not my faves at all), but not now. Some of them are just too much of mind-beeps. Even the television show on FX "American Horror Story"...I watched the first episode and was DONE.

Re: Movies....
It's cool, because my kids will try and hide behind me, during the Shark chase scene(s).
