Re: Home Recording???
Wow, really??? That is a seriously loaded question. There's literally thousands of options and considerations out there for you. It really comes down to your budget. Do some reasearch on line to decide what works best for you. You could put together a pretty good home studio using pro tools for under $5K. If you're starting out and want to put together a good sounding demo your better investment would probably be to go to a reasonably priced studio where the guys know how to get the most out of the gear.

Check out sites and catalogs from Sweetwater.com They have almost every type of equipment a musician can dream of. But just what Requiem said, it's hard for us to choose for you. The budget is the number one thing here as well as how much you really need for the home/studio recording. Good luck and have fun shopping! :)
