Books
I'm hoping that Elly and I aren't the only people here who read, you illiterate shits.
I'm reading a dance of dragons, the fifth book in the game of thrones series.

I will speak daggers to her, but use none;

Re: Books
pfft no care ever.
We like to talk big, vampires do. "I'm going to destroy the world." That's just tough-guy talk.The truth is, I like this world. You've got, dog racing, Manchester United. And you've got people. billions of people walking around like a happy meal on legs. -

Not actively. It's there if someone is interested.

Re: Books
I had some books I was really looking forward to getting into...then my nephew's boxer decided he wanted to get into them. Three books (and some magazines) destroyed. I haven't replaced them yet...greyhounds, soldier dogs and Marilyn.

Re: Books
I'm reading "Kicking & Dreaming" by Ann and Nancy Wilson.
Going to see them at Massey Hall next week. -
Re: Books
I just finished, Life of Pi, which is seemed to go from amazingly beautiful to mind numbingly boring on a regular basis. I will say that it is memorable and unique, but the voice never quite grabbed me, and I'd steer clear of this one if you need your novels to hit you over the head with action on a regular basis.
Starting in on Barbara Kingsolver's, Prodigal Summer, which is not something I thought I'd enjoy, but I'm already fully immersed in the story,setting, and first person narrative after ten pages.
