Points...
Can they be changed to something else? You know I'm from the old site and I like the new place, it's homey and comfortable but the points aren't working for me. I haven't seen anywhere to use them and to collect them. eh it's ok, I had fun, it is fun but Karma worked better...the stages...it was more Godsmack. Ok, Ok, and I'm a huge Karma person so I'm stuck on the old site for that. I thought the Karma was different, some spice.... not just blah points.
Any thoughts on changing it. Karma is more suited .....

Yeah....KARMA! When I first saw the point system, I assumed that they would be beneficial when ordering from the GS store, but now know better. I'm only familiar with this site, and sounds like I missed out some, by not being part of the old one. It appears that it was more GS oriented....just my opinion.

People who attain a certain level of points could get early access to pre-sale tickets or priority seating maybe?? If that's too complicated then perhaps they could purchase a special edition t-shirt from the store that's only available after you have accumulated enough points to unlock it. Something? Anything??
The idea to encourage people to interact on the site and hang around longer is a good one; but it's being wasted. -

The idea of giving swag (tee shirts, etc) after reaching so many points, is a good idea Razor. Most of the points are given according to time spent on the site, friends, and bogs/comments....but us "chosen few" are normally interacting on one or more forum topics, which no points are rewarded. For me, the simple fact that a handful of us have begun a bond of sorts recently, is worth more than any amount of points given.
