this music speaks to me

I remember buying this album when it first came out and absolutely loving it. It sounded great and for my high school self, that was enough. But then about a year ago I had it playing in my car for over a week and I didn't just hear it, I listened, and I happened to catch a line that I hadn't really paid attention to before and it changed the album for me.
There are songs and individual lines in this album that really speak to me and a situation in my life. That one line in particular really helped me understand something in my life. It helped me look at it in a different way, which enabled me to accept the situation and understand why it was like it was. I listened to this album on my way to work today and it still speaks to me.

Having great sounding music is fairly easy, but making music that actually influences lives is something else entirely. I owe a good deal on my current peace of mind to that wonderful album.

Tis the first album that got me into godsmack, let alone the rest of you all. MoonBaby,Get Up Get Out, Now or never!, and Stress, made me love it. Not only do they rock, Godsmack fucking rules. This is my fav album alongside Faceless. Can"t wait to see them at Shorelin 2009.

where the road began...

Godsmack is a classic. This heavy, kick ass album just screams "ROCK OUT LOUD!" I got into the band a few years ago and have just about every album and song. This is one of my favorites. I love Voodoo, Keep Away, Moon Baby, Immune, and Situation with a passion. Trying to decide which song I should choose for my band to cover
