I was convinced that the Boy's coudnt top Faceless! They surprised me again by coming very close with IV. My favorite album is still faceless but IV is my second favorite. The direction and song writing on this album are so amazing!! I like every song on the record except for One rainy day. I didnt get into that song really. Also there were all ready 2 ballad type song's on the record. Loved every other track though. Also love the Hidden track after the album end's HAHAHA I didnt hear it till i had the album for a week or so haha!! AWSOME RECORD!!! CANT WAIT FOR NUMBER 5!!!Metalmattxxx

Excuse me for my English, I know it's not so perfect as it should be, but I have something to say about Godsmack's album "IV".When I started to listen to the music, I felt the difference between "IV" and the other works of Godsmack, difference in everything - in the sound, in the lyrics, in the play (especially in the Shannon's play), and it didn't imress me... I used to hear crashing guitars and drums in the "Godsmack", "Awake", "Faceless" albums... But the single song I liked immediately was "Livin' in sin"... I didn't understand why guys decided to make that kind of album, but everuthing had changed when I heard "Bleeding me". Somehow I didn't have this song in my player and didn't even think that there was something of Godsmack I hadn't heard yet... With the first sound of the song I understood that Godsmack are still with us... Some time later I loved all the album from "Livin' in sin" to "One rainy day", and although I don't consider "IV" the best work of Godsmack, I'm sure that this is a great album with absolutely special sound, which is maybe, difficult to understand suddenly, but it shows us what the best group in the world can do...

I don't have a favorite Godsmack album, but this one is certainly up there with the best ones so far. I like Speak & No Rest For The Wicked especilly. I can truly identify with most, if not, every song. Tere's alt of different things Sully Erna is singing about. I've had alot of ecperiences with liars, and backstabbers, and punks, etc, who think they're something. Plus various other experiences. Anyway, truly a great album. I find myself playing those two particular songs over and over. Love the rythm and beat, and the lyrics rock too. All in all, an awesome compilation and even greater forerunning albuns. Hope Godsmack puts out alot more albums. Anxious to see what's next. A longtime fan. Anxiously awaiting the next album.
