Everything happens. It may not affect you or your world, but it does happen somewhere, maybe in a place that's out of this planet. I just don't see how people can walk past someone or something and think it's okay. If you see a starving child or animal, what do YOU do? If you find out that a friend has made a poor choice, do you try to help or leave him or her be? There are so many things that people just don't consider. One being how animals are treated. The human race is really, truly a sickening race. Many seek to reap the benefits of our universe for personal competition. Sure, there are those few that try to help, but sometimes it just isn't enough. I'm not saying that people don't do good things as well, but as a whole, we are killing the lifestyles that we have poorly prepared for. In nature, you take everything you can get to SURVIVE. This lifetime, the foraging is only to become someone that can show up another. "Avarice will kill you in time..."
