Here in Eastern Iowa we got some much needed rain today. While everyone out east was getting flooded we're hurtin' for the wet stuff. I just checked and we got 3/4" throughout the day and I'm thrilled! My garden has been producing, but the broccoli needs more moisture in the soil to make those big tasty flowers! I only have 5 giant pumpkins, off of 7 total plants. They were doing great early on, but it stopped raining for many weeks and no more baby giant pumpkins made it through. :(
Nature is just so sarcastic, either not enough or way too much rain falls, just depends on where you are!!
