Godsmack

I first heard Godsmack in the summer of 1999, on the radio, Rock 105.3 KIOZ, out of San Diego, Ca.

The first song I heard was “Keep Away”, and I was hooked, right away. “Keep Away”, was all over the radio, and even on MTV, when they actually played music videos.

In the summer of 2000, I saw them live for the first time at Ozzfest 2000, and since they have been my favorite band. The energy that is released during their live shows in incredible and by far, Godsmack is the best band I have ever seen live. The best part of the all Godsmack live shows, are the drum battles between Sully and Shannon. I like when Sully see’s someone “sitting” at the concert and tells them to “get up or get out”.

I have seen them live four other times.
