Relaxing & Jamming!
It's a beautiful day in Iowa and I'm in my summer "office" (the swing in the backyard) enjoying the day. One of my horses just came running up from the bottom pasture to the fence near me. It was like I called him or something. I'm totally jamming to Godsmack, Disturbed, Judas Priest and others as I type away. I still need to find a job so I can afford to keep this little farm, but today I'm just chillin' and life is good. Can't wait for the meet & greet next Tuesday in Dubuque with Godsmack!!!!!
Later I'm going to cut out some more videos of Archie rocking to Godsmack tunes. Plus somewhere I have some cool videos of my horses running around in the pasture and I want to get those posted too.

We have paint horses (3) and a couple of minis. I had to laugh at "a whole bunch of cats"! Most farms with animals do have a lot of cats. We have 5 permanent ones. I grew up in the city, so we have all of ours spayed & neutered. I do need to get their shots updated though. The cats stay outside, but we treat them all like pets and everytime I go outside at least one is waiting for me at the back door. We also have a German Shephard named Hector. And of course we have birds inside, including Archie, who is a huge Godsmack fan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWztRjGLeMw).

What kind of horses do you have? I used to live on a small farm when I was in high school... we didn't have horses, but we had chickens, pigs, goats, and a whole bunch of cats.
