Hurricane Irene
Everyone is for the most part safe here in central new york, some of my family were stranded, surrounded by water and are relatively close to the Gilboa Dam which they were keeping a close eye hoping for the best but had a fear of it breaking, Thankfully the water has went back down and it is fine for now. Those family members were evacuted by the national guard last night around 10pm and are safely in a shelter but we cannot get to them because of the roads and bridges being wiped out. So other than that we are all fine, water flooded around our house but has receded now. Thankfully no one I know has been hurt. I pray for everyone else and hopefully everyone is well and safe. I pray for the people whom are stranded in Cobleskill, NY and Plattsville, NY because of the bridges and roads being wiped out that help will come soon to get them out of there and with their loved ones. I also pray for the people in Middleburgh, NY especially the farmers whom have lost their dairy cows and livestock I pray that their liveilhood will return in full force and better than ever.
