OK so even-though this year has been for the most part truly shitty because of all the people I am missing, it is ending on an awesome note! Last night David took me on a Christmas surprise down to this dam we used to go to all the time when we first started hanging out and dating. Well they made it into a house so we couldn't go all the way down to where we would have wanted but we walked down the road some when he stopped and said "this year has been a long year for both of us and that the reason I wanted to come here is because we have shared a lot of memories here and this is where we first began our relationship. So I figure this was the best place to ask you this..." He got down on one knee, taking a box out of his coat pocket and asked me to marry him and I said YES!

What makes this even more special is that the ring he gave me is the same ring, well diamond my father gave my mother and the band was replaced by a band that my Aunt gave him so it would fit. I love him so much, hopefully this goes to show that next year will be an much happier and a more amazing year.
